Over the first six months of an Executive Mentoring programme, Terry worked very closely with Andy and Chris, encouraging them to focus on internal project management, customer communications and improved resource planning. By the end of the year the effort and time given to addressing Astec’s business challenges began to pay off, and their business began to grow considerably.

By improving management effectiveness and internal processes and procedures, Astec Solutions has experienced significant growth. In the last two financial years the business has seen a 25% year on year growth.

When Triton first met with Terry Forsey in 2007 they were having problems in the sales process, in particular when engaging at Director and Senior Manager Decision-maker level. Terry led a Triton Non-Executive Support Programme working closely with the Directors to review the whole customer engagement model and help them to really understand who their customers are and how to effectively engage them.

From this they have developed a continuous process of improving the skills of sales and marketing resources, the effectiveness of the sales and marketing function and the overall focus and profitability of the business.

As part of their growth plan they conceived MMB Software Ltd a new venture planned for launch in 2010. MMB (Manage My Business) is charged with delivering a new hosted solution, TaskAdviser.

‘TaskAdviser’ from MMB Software Ltd was expected to be fully ready for a live start towards the end of March 2010. The initial challenge was to develop the strategy to bring this new solution to market on time.

With a considerable amount of experience working with many “pay as you go” and “on line” solutions Terry was able to bring his experience of a number of different sectors and solutions to help MMB.

Excell Ultrasound is a Peterborough based company providing diagnostic ultrasound scans in the East of England and East Midlands, specialising in providing a mobile service in community based settings such as Doctor’s surgeries and Community Hospitals. The small dedicated team of sonographers carry out a range of examinations using the latest in portable ultrasound equipment.

In 2009 Excell Ultrasound received grant funding from Opportunity Peterborough. A proportion of the grant awarded was to be allocated for Marketing Consultancy. Excell Ultrasound contacted Terry to seek his advice and expertise on how to address the challenges of growth and target prospective customers.
